Love's Philosophy
by Percy Bysshe Shelley
The fountains mingle with the river,
And the rivers with the ocean;
The winds of heaven mix forever,
With a sweet emotion;
Nothing in the world is single;
All things by a law divine
In one another's being mingle;--
Why not I with thine?
See! the mountains kiss high heaven,
And the waves clasp one another;
No sister flower would be forgiven,
If it disdained it's brother;
And the sunlight clasps the earth,
And the moonbeams kiss the sea;--
What are all these kissings worth,
If thou kiss not me?
And the waves clasp one another;
No sister flower would be forgiven,
If it disdained it's brother;
And the sunlight clasps the earth,
And the moonbeams kiss the sea;--
What are all these kissings worth,
If thou kiss not me?
......:::Nine years ago today Brad and I started hanging out and never stopped. We weren't looking for love but it hit us like lightning. He took me all around town today, mimicking the first month we started hanging out as friends and ended up as a couple. It was romantic and sweet and Im so grateful to be with him. Above is a picture of the flowers he got me. Its not a bouquet of red roses. No, I have always loved baby's breath. Yes, these are not baby's breath, the store was out ^_^ but they are white and thats what he always gets me, white flowers. Even in my wedding I had white for my bouquet and it was gorgeous. Love definitely is a many splendored thing:::.........
